Homemade Teff Pizza: Delicious Vegan Alternative
super easy
Ingredients:
- 1 cup teff flour
- 1 cup organic whole wheat flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1 pack active yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- Pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Bell peppers
- Onions
- Black olives
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup teff flour, 1 cup organic whole wheat flour, and a pinch of salt.
2. In a separate bowl, dissolve 1 pack of active yeast in 1 cup warm water. Let it sit for a few minutes until it becomes frothy.
3. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and stir until well combined. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4. Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise for 30 minutes to an hour in a warm place until it doubles in size.
5. Preheat your oven to 360°F (180°C).
6. Once the dough has risen, transfer it to a lightly floured surface and roll it out into your desired pizza shape and thickness.
7. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
8. Remove the pizza crust from the oven and spread pizza sauce evenly over the surface.
9. Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
10. Top the pizza with bell peppers, onions, and black olives, or any other toppings of your choice.
11. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes at 400°F (200°C), or until the cheese is melted and the toppings are cooked to your liking.
12. Once done, remove the Teff Pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and then slice and serve.
Enjoy your homemade Teff Pizza with its flavorful crust and delicious toppings! 🍕😋
