Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tbsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced (optional for heat)
- 2 small sweet bell peppers, thinly sliced
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the thinly sliced sirloin steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
3. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried rosemary, ground cardamom, black pepper, and salt to the skillet. Stir well to coat the steak and onions with the spices. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the onions are soft and fragrant.
4. Add the sliced jalapeño and sweet bell peppers to the skillet. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers are slightly tender.
